Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, is recruiting 264 candidates for the posts of Boats Crew – Lascar and Fireman. NAVAL DOCKYARD MUMBAI INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 264 POSTS OF BOATS CREW – LASCAR AND FIREMAN. LAST DATE – 20/02/2014

1. Boats Crew Lascar-I: 207 posts (Gen—105; SC—32; ST—20; OBC—50). Out of total 20 for Ex-Servicemen, 10 for Sportsperson and 06 for PWD candidates.
2. Boats Crew Fireman: 57 posts. (Gen—30; SC—3; ST—6; OBC—18). Out of total vacancies 06 for Ex-Servicemen, 03 for Sportsperson and 02 for PWD candidates.

Educational Qualification (For both posts): Class 10 pass from a recognized board. Candidates should know Swimming and shall have atleast 03 years service on a ship/ craft of a registered vessel.

Age Limit: Between 18yrs and 35 years. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates. Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per govt. norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Physical Efficiency Test. There will be also Medical Examination at final stage. The written exam / PET/Swimming test will be conducted at Mumbai only.
